Charity Administrator

Join Our Team at Link to Change – Charity Administrator Role

Salary- pro-rata £16,554 (25 hours) (£24,500 FTE)

Closing Date: 5pm Monday 12th May

At Link to Change, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Charity Administrator to join our small but passionate team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring our work supporting vulnerable children and young people runs smoothly and effectively every day.

You'll be at the heart of our organisation, providing essential administrative support to our management team, staff, and Board of Trustees – helping us stay on track as we tackle exploitation and create safer futures for children and young people.

About the Role:

As a Charity Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing our day-to-day administrative activities, from handling correspondence and organising meetings to maintaining databases, minute taking, and keeping everything running efficiently.

You’ll also help coordinate and support event planning, and ensure that our records and reporting systems meet the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will help power the impact we have in the community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a charity or non-profit setting.

  • Fantastic organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive data.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small, friendly team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office systems.

  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality protocols.

A full clean driving licence, with access to a car and appropriate insurance is necessary to fulfil this role.

It would be a bonus if you also have:

  • An understanding of safeguarding principles, particularly related to children and young people.

  • Previous experience working in a youth, social care, or wellbeing environment.

Why Join Us?

At Link to Change, we’re passionate about giving children and young people the power to shape their futures. As part of our team, you’ll be contributing to work that makes a real and lasting difference.

We offer:

  • A welcoming and supportive team environment.

  • Opportunities for personal and professional development.

  • Flexible working options.

  • The chance to be part of a charity that is passionate about making a positive change every day.

We’re a small team, and everyone’s contribution is valued. We love to hear new ideas and encourage collaboration – whether it’s around a board meeting table or over a coffee in the office (yes, the kettle is always on!).
